Rates and conditions 2015

  • City tours with the car/bus start at your hotel. City walks start at your hotel if it is within the historical center (1st district). In other case upon request.

  • Flat rate for a group from 1 to 25 people.

  • Payment takes place directly after the tour in cash.

  • The tariff depends on the number of persons and the type of tour, as well as the duration of the guided tour.

 

Highlights City tour
 
 
Is it  your first time in Vienna? Do you want to see  most of it at  a short period of time? Then, this tour is a must.
 
You will see main attractions of the city: gorgeous Ring boulevard, splendid palaces Schönbrunn and Belvedere, House and museum of the famous Austrian artist Hundertwasser. We will drive through the big amusement park with its famous Giant Ferris Wheel to the other bank of the river Danube. There you ´ll see the modern part of Vienna,  the Danube city where  the United Nations Office at  and Vienna International Center are situated.
You will get to know a lot of interesting things about  history of the city, its architecture and famous rulers and inhabitants.

Walking tour for first-time visitors. This is what you need for the overview and orientation in the Old Town.
 
You will see the highlights of the the oldest part of Vienna:  beautiful St.Steven´s cathedral, former Imperial Hofburg Palace, parks, monuments and some hidden courtyards. Moreover, you will get lots of practical tips what to see and to do in Vienna.

Vienna by night
 
 
This tour is a perfect chance to see Vienna from a different side.
I will show you the Ring boulevard with all its famous historical buildings and monuments. We continue to the Giant Ferris Wheel in  Prater, which is the biggest amusement park in Vienna. The Ferris Wheel is one of Vienna's landmarks. If you wish, you can take a ride on it! From the top you can have a wonderful view over the rooftops of the city
  Alternatively I can take you to the well-known Danube Tower. From its terrace of 150 meters above the roofs of Vienna, you can admire the marvelous panorama of our city and the  blu Danube sung by the famous Austrian walz composer Johann Strauss the junior.
And our tour goes on...We will drive towards the nothern part of the Vienna Woods. On the way you will hear some interesting stories about the surroundings and glorious (well, and not so glorious) past. We will come to the top of the hill, which is offering a breathtaking view over the entire city.
And finally, if you wish, the evening could be  ended in one of the traditional wine taverns of Grinzing, where you can enjoy traditional live music and the typical Viennese ambiance.

Hofburg Palace and its Treasures
 
 
The word Hofburg can be translated from German as a "court palace". Discover the former residence of the Habsburgs, the dynasty, which had ruled the country for more than 600 years! Their splendid palaces,  the Court Church, the Spanish Riding School, the former Court Library, the magnificent imperial collections...  Enjoy your travel back in time! The place is full of history and mystery as well. You can spend the whole day there if you want to visit all the museums it offers.
We start our  tour by strolling around the Hofburg Quarter and continue it in one of the Hofburg museums.
This tour can be combined with  Imperial Treasury. What was the Holy Roman Empire like and what role did it play in the history of Europe? What makes the Holy Lance so holy and what magical powers  it claims to possess? You will find out at the tour.
Or you can take advantage of the Hofburg Combination Ticket and combine a guided tour through the Silver Collection with a tour of the Hofburg State Rooms including the "Sisi"-Exhibition about the life and death of Austria's enigmatic empress.

Schönbrunn Palace
 
 
The former summer residence of the imperial family and UNESCO World cultural heritage is the most often visited attraction of Vienna. The Palace together with the huge park make the jewel of the barock architektur.
Skip staying in a line and enjoy a private tour with your personal guide. See the Habsburgs' private rooms and sumptuous State Apartments, listen to imperial gossip. In the park you can admire the fountains and statuary  and if you wish, enjoy a beautiful  view over the  city from the Gloriette pavillion erected on  the hill opposite the palace. Time permitting, you might also want to include  an Apple Strudel show with a cup of coffee and a piece of this famous austrian pastry  at Cafe Residenz.
Travelling with children, you might like to visit Children museum where your kids could play princesses and princes, or spend the rest of the  day in the oldest Zoo in the world! Schönbrunn has something to offer to every age!

 Belvedere Palace

 

You have a good chance to see not only one of the  gems of baroque architecture in Vienna, but also visit the impressive collection of Austrian art dating from the Middle Ages to the present day.

The indisputable  highlight of the museum  is the world´s largest Gustav Klimt collection. Other highlights include masterpieces of Austrian expressionists, above all  Egon Schiele and Oskar Kokoschka. Prominent works by the French Impressionists and an outstanding collection of Viennese Biedermeier paintings of the early 19th century are further attractions at the Upper Belvedere.
